Miss Zoe (Founder & CEO)

Founder’s Story

Miss Zoe is the founder of Shalom Extra Miles Education Center, driven by her deep passion for empowering others through education. Growing up in a third-world country, she witnessed the transformative power of learning and made it her mission to uplift her community. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Education from Grand Canyon University and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Elementary Education at Ball State University.

Professional Experience

Miss Zoe brings over seven years of experience teaching at Arizona Chin Church, where she served as a youth leader and participated in leadership and worship programs. She has also worked as a kindergarten teacher assistant, volunteered as a preschool interpreter, and completed annual student teaching and practicums. Her extensive experience has shaped her strong foundation in mentoring and supporting others academically, socially, and spiritually.

Community Connection

Fluent in four Chin dialects, Miss Zoe connects with diverse families and builds meaningful relationships within her community. She is passionate about creating a nurturing, faith-based environment where children thrive academically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Personal Interests and Vision

In her free time, Miss Zoe enjoys road trips, reading, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. Her vision for Shalom Extra Miles Education Center is not only to help children reach their full potential but also to equip parents with the tools and confidence to raise their children in a new country.
